Happy New Year Lizteners,

I hope you all rang in the new year with a bang and are just as excited and motivated as I am to make 2017 one of the best years yet. I have a lot of things planned for Liztening so definitely stay tuned for some exciting blog posts, which will encompass a broader range of topics (from beauty to food etc.).

As you probably know if you’ve been following me on here or on my other social media sites is that I’ve been traveling to the West Coast during the past couple of days and will continue to do so until mid January. And can you believe it, the day has finally come that we’ve reached the City of Angels. Los Angeles has always been one of my all-time favorite cities. Once you’ve been here and really ‘soaked up the vibes’ here, you’ll get why. One of my favorite parts in LA is West Hollywood, Melrose Ave and Melrose Place to be exact. There you can find everything from small, independent boutiques to high-end, designer stores. Of course I had to go the The Row store and although I am not able to show you pictures of the interior, because photography wasn’t permitted, I can assure you that it was one of the most beautiful stores I have ever seen and I felt like I had reached the climax of contemporary interior design. So whenever you’re in LA and are into that kinda stuff as much as I am, go check it out!

As far as my outfit goes, I had to correlate with this gloomy weather, which is very unusual for LA. I wore a forest green sleeveless turtleneck and a cream bell-sleeved sweater over that. Why? Because the coat I’m wearing only has 7/8 length sleeves so I wanted to show off the bell-sleeve by letting it peek out underneath. As far as bottoms go, I decided to put on my navy, silk flow pants because they’re simply the best and I topped the outfit off with some silver shoes and a light blue bag for a pop of color.
