Prada Marfa

Prada Marfa

Hey you guys,

Have you ever had the burning urge to go to a fake high-end store in the middle of nowhere? Yeah.. me too! That’s exactly what Prada Marfa is. It’s a fake Prada store that was put on some street in Texas. Sounds hard to find and it seems like no one would really make an effort to go, correct? Nope! Not me đŸ˜‰ Thanks to the internet and Instagram I discovered this art work featuring both Prada shoes and bags that were handpicked by Miuccia Prada herself.

So of course, as a fashion lover (and now fashion blogger) I had to visit this mysterious little shop. Since nothing is really around it and it’s far from civilization, I didn’t know when I’d ever go there. Well, yesterday was my lucky day, because Prada Marfa was on our way to New Mexico where I am right now and so therefore we were able to visit it. And let me remind you just one more time that if I say this is in the middle of nowhere, then it genuinely is. We were driving up this street for almost an hour, solely surrounded by mother nature and then all of a sudden you see a few cars parked on one side of the street and on the opposite, you see this little box that strongly resembles a real Prada boutique. And I have to say that it was absolutely worth going and I’m pretty pleased with how the pictures turned out. I hope so are you!

Next stop? Arizona and then California (yes, yes, yeeeessss) tomorrow. Therefore, stay tuned for more and either subscribe to this blog or follow me on social media. Also, feel free to leave comments below this post, if you feel like it!

xx – Liz
