I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are ready to ring in the new year. Seriously though: Am I the only one who thinks that 2016 just passed by in the blink of an eye. This time around, I like to reflect on my accomplishments, memorable experiences and most cherished moments of the past year to see how far I’ve come. 2016 has definitely been one my most productive years yet (especially since I launched Liztening in 2016 hehe) and I have so much more that I want to accomplish so I’m super excited for what the future holds. For me, it’s definitely my passion for what I love to do and my burning ambition that drives me forward and makes me want to push myself outside of my comfort zone. And that’s something I can recommend to everyone: If you’re scared of something, don’t be! just go for it. You really don’t have anything to lose, right?
Alright, putting my motivational speaker side aside, I have officially started my road trip to the West Coast and our first stop was San Antonio, Texas. Man oh man was it hot here.. Never have I worn a light blouse on December 26th and thought that I could actually get away with wearing something even lighter. Ever! The city was actually really nice. Smaller than Houston, but very pleasant to walk around in. We walked along the ‘River Walk’ after checking out Downtown and finally made our way to their Arts District. Traveling has always been such a huge part of my life and to me, there is nothing better than experiencing a brand new city for the first time, soaking up their culture and of course taking pictures along the way so that all of you can get a similar feeling of exhilaration. So without further ado; here is San Antonio for y’all 😉 Enjoy!
