Merry Metallics

Merry Christmas Eve Lizteners,

I’m starting this post off by saying that I am a huge fan of this time of year: I love the Holiday decor, catching up with family and friends who I haven’t seen for the past six months, watching Christmas movies and listening to festive music, all while being curled up in my bed, sipping on a cup of hot tea while watching the snow outside coating the concrete streets. Only this is not what’s happening this year. I am not home in Luxembourg, but instead I am in Houston, TX. What a plot twist, right? Kidding.. It’s freaking hot out here, therefore there is no visible sign of snow whatsoever and I am not at my grandma’s place where I’d spent time with my very loud, but funny and loving family. However, I am having a great time so far in Houston, the decor here is outstanding if I might add and I have to give my dad credit for decorating the place to the best of his abilities. Nonetheless, it is hard to really get into the Christmas mood, when you’re in a T-Shirt!!

As far as my outfit goes, I decided to go for an all white ensemble that I toughened up with my favorite leather jacket from All Saints. As a big fan of metallics, I topped this very simple outfit off with a silver bag and shoes, both from TOD’S. The place this was shot at is called the Dunlavy and I highly recommend you checking them out, should you ever visit Houston.

I will be traveling soon so keep your eyes out for some new blog posts. I’ve got some interesting things planned..
