H-Town

Happy Sunday Lizteners!

For those who celebrated, I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving and spent it with the people you love and appreciate the most. I don’t get to see my family a lot so I was more than happy to spend the holiday with my dad in Houston, Texas. I’ve been here a few times already, but I still felt like there was more to explore so my dad and I hopped into the car, drove around and saw some really cool photo ops that we just couldn’t pass up. Houston is a huge city, so there is lots to see. It’s pretty diverse too, which I happen to really enjoy. You got the million dollar mansions on one hand and artsy murals on the other. By my outfit you can also tell that the weather here is slightly different from the one in New York City (and it’s almost December!!!). Don’t get me wrong, I love a good coat, but it was kinda nice to heat up for a couple of days, especially after being cold and sick in bed for weeks prior to this. I decided to go for some striped culottes that I paired with a simple white Tee and some fluffy sneakers and my favorite bright blue bag that I actually got in Houston last year.

I don’t wanna miss my flight back to NYC so I’m gonna head out now, but I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving and I will be back very soon!
