The Green Coat

Hi Lizteners,

Another week has passed by where I am still sick apparently, but I managed nonetheless to put this blog post together before I’m leaving for Texas tomorrow (talking about skills y’all). I seriously cannot wait til I’m back to normal again, cause I hate not being able to pursue my daily activties the way I’m used to. At this point, I feel like I’m wasting valuable time, but I guess we all need a little break at one point. It just happens to be extra hard for little hard-headed moi.

Okay so ever since I came to NYC, I somehow managed to acquire the nickname of ‘Green Girl’ and I’ve been embracing it ever since. The coat that I’m wearing here obviously only adds to my obession with everything green and I couldn’t have been more thankful for it that day, because Winter is starting to hit the city and Idk if I’m mentally or physically prepared for it, but the coat definitely helped. The lining of it makes it even better; take a closer look and you’ll see the Eiffel Tower. Gotta give it up to Italy for staying innovative with their designs. I paired it with a cream-colored cashmere turtleneck and a black jersey skirt. Speaking of Italy, I topped the look off with my new gem from Tod’s: this amazing silver metallic Wave Bag, as well as a pair of studded combat boots. I guess I felt a little extra French that day, which honestly never happens so I decided to put on my cheetah beret from Sandro and I called it an outfit.

I do have to say that I get very excited about the Holidays, especially Christmas, because the city starts to light up (even more than usual) in this mesmerizing way and if you’re as big of a sucker for lights and decoration, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I hope you all get to spend the holidays with the people you love and appreciate the most.
