Comme des Filles

Good morning Lizteners,

Another fun and eventful week has passed by and what better way to celebrate that than with a new blog post from moi? As I live in the Chelsea neighbourhood, I thought I’d take advantage of that and take all of you guys along to show you one thing that Chelsea is known for: its art galleries and other hidden gems in industrial buildings near the waterfront (which btw is a great running spot, should you be interested). One of my favorite ‘semi-hidden’ spots in Chelsea is the Comme des Garçons store. As fun as the exterior might look like, the interior is even better and I highly recommend you checking it out, should you be in the area.

I took my personal photographer and dear friend aka Isabella (who I guess you all know by now) with me and this is what we came up with:

As I get questions all the time about culottes and how to properly style them, I thought I’d feature one of my favorite pairs again to show you how I like to wear them (and so did Isabella with a different pair ofc). I decided to pair my white culottes with a sheer white shirt and a long grey coat from Maje. If you know me, you know I loooove Maje. I could probably wear their clothes all day, every day. So Maje if you’re reading this, I would be a perfect brand ambassador! ANYWAYS, I tied a ‘scarf’, which really just is what my Lush soap got wrapped in, around my neck and I topped it off with my silver shoes and these mirrored sunglasses I got at a flea market in Brooklyn.

Isabella decided to pair her culottes with a big, electric blue sweater, a beige vest and a colorful scarf. With that, she decided to pop on these really cool, blue lens – sunglasses, which used to be her mum’s. To top it off, she wore her Tod’s shoes (yes, this made me really happy, because I am currently interning at Tod’s so yay go Italian shoes) and carried this cute little brown-ish bag.
