Hey Lizteners,
I hope you all had a wonderful week and have celebrated your way into this well-deserved weekend! Waking up every day in this mesmerizing city is truly something that I want to hold on to as long as I can. Also, how lucky am I to live only a couple of minutes away from the High Line, which is one of my favorite places in the city. For those who don’t know, the High Line is a park on an elevated section, which used to be a Railroad spur. If you don’t feel like walking in NYC traffic, the High Line is perfect to get you from point A to B relatively quickly while providing a gorgeous view of the Hudson River.
Isabella and I managed to get these pics even though we were running around like two headless chicken, because we (mainly me though..) were afraid that the Sun was going to set before we were done shooting on the High Line. Well, this is what we got out of it:
I’m wearing these super wide, long black pants with a simple T-Shirt tucked into it, which was (believe it or not), signed by Mr. Alexander Wang himself, which I then topped off with this neoprene-like, light blue motorcycle jacket that I got in a boutique in West Hollywood. I can’t go anywhere without my ‘sac de jour’ from Saint Laurent nowadays so of course that’s what I brought and I wore a pair of black studded booties.
Isabella on the other hand went for a print on print (the key to this is that you’re choosing prints that are relatively plain, otherwise you might turn out looking like a clown..), which she paired with some black pants and Vans. She also tied a printed scarf around her black bag, which makes her officially not only the queen of scarves, but also of mixing prints!
Happy rest of your weekend guys!
xx – Liz
