Architectural Climax

Hi Lizteners,

I had lunch today at what I consider to be the most interesting museum in Luxembourg: the MUDAM. It features the latest and greatest of international, contemporary artists. It’s however not only the art itself that I find intriguing, but so is the building itself that was built by one of the most renowned architects of our time: I.M. Pei. What makes it even more beautiful is the nature and buildings surrounding it. You have a beautiful view on the city centre, which is especially stunning during the nighttime. So if you ever find yourself looking for something to do on a hot summer night, why not enjoy a picnic in the park surrounding the MUDAM, overlooking Luxembourg City?

Enough of me, raving about this place, let’s talk fashion: Bell Sleeves are amongst the hottest trends for this upcoming season. Whether you rock them on a sweater, blouse or long-sleeve T-shirt, the bell sleeve trend is sure to be adopted by many fashionistas all over the world and can already be found in most stores. Here, I’m featuring a knitted piece with a bell sleeve (obviously) with this really interesting knot detail. I paired it with one of my favourite culotte-style pants that are from Yileste; a Luxembourgish company that I had the pleasure to be interning at this Summer. Without further ado, enjoy the pics and for those that are thinking about ever going to the MUDAM: What are you waiting for? JUST DO IT!!

Keep it classy, never trashy!

xoxo – Liz
