Pink, White and Blue

Hi Lizteners!

So I hope you’re all doing fantastic and are just as excited about the blog update as I am!

So I shot these pics with the help of my brother last week in front of my old high school (nope no nostalgic feelings there whatsoever) in Luxembourg City. I love this outfit for two reasons: a) it is super versatile and b) very airy and comfortable, especially for those days when the weather simply cannot make up its mind as it seems to be the case for the one in Luxembourg… Something that is quite characteristic about the outfits I choose to wear is that I find myself mixing and matching expensive items with more affordable pieces. Since I love to travel (yup I’m the kind of person you’d never see again if travelling was free), I always like to find local boutiques and shop local, up-and-coming designers, especially when the clothing item has been produced in a country where ethical production standards are guaranteed. (If you’ve never seen the documentary ‘The True Cost’, I highly recommend you do!) I’ve always been taught by my parents to not only look at the fiber content of a garment before buying it, but also at its country of production and I highly suggest you do too!

I’m wearing this amazing T-shirt by a Korean brand that I got in Paris a while ago, which I decided to pair with these loose, culotte-style, striped pants that tie in the front. They are uber comfortable, let me tell you. Over that, I threw on this white vest which always takes me back to my first ever NYFW, as I wore it to the Givenchy show last September in NYC (best day EVER!!). If you know me, you know I’m a ring person, so I popped on one of my favorites that featured some blue in it and completed the look with my newest obsession: My YSL baby sac de your bag in the most amazing light blue color to which I added myself this fluffy, fake fur, hot pink keychain. As far as the shoes go, I have no words. Nothing beats a well-made, high-quality shoe. I definitely find myself investing in pieces that I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of and these are no exception.
